BEYOND THE STORY | GUIDED GROUP DEVELOPMENT

Maybe You Know How to Tell Your Story. But What Comes After It?

You have a story, experience, or expertise worth sharing. Maybe you've already told your story, and people respond to it.

Then someone asks you to speak for 45 minutes, and you're wondering what comes after the story.

Learn how to shape your message, develop the teaching around it, and adapt your presentation for different audiences and opportunities.

One message. Many rooms. Different depths.

See What You'll Build

Your Story Takes 7 Minutes. Someone Gives You 45. What Happens Next?

  • You finish telling your story.
  • The audience is listening.
  • You've made your point.
  • You look at the clock.
  • You still have 30 minutes.
Now what?
  • Maybe you add another story.
  • Maybe you repeat something you've already said.
  • Maybe you start explaining everything you know, hoping the audience stays with you.

This is where many speakers get stuck.

They know how to tell a story. They're still learning how to build the complete experience around it.

How do you find what belongs?

How do you turn one lesson into something you can teach?

When do you add another story, invite the audience into a conversation, or take an existing point deeper?

And how do you shorten that same talk when the next opportunity gives you only ten minutes?

These are skills you can learn.

Inside Signature Talk Accordion™, you'll develop a way to organize your message, build supporting teaching, and adapt your presentation without starting from scratch every time.

The goal is to make every minute matter.

What You'll Build in 12 Weeks

Imagine receiving an invitation to speak.

You know what you want to say. You know how to organize it. And you have a way to adjust when the room, audience, or time changes.

That's what we're working toward.

Across 12 weeks, with six live guided group sessions and time to practice between them, you'll develop five speaking assets.

01 — Your Central Message

The central idea that holds your presentation together.

You'll identify what you want people to remember and begin organizing your material around it.

Your takeaway: A written central message and a clear audience outcome.

02 — Your Bridge Bank

A collection of statements that connect your experiences, insights, and teaching points to the people listening.

You'll learn how to move from a story into a lesson, transition between ideas, and help your audience understand why something matters.

Your takeaway: A working collection of bridge statements connected to your message.

03 — Your Talk Architecture

The structure that turns your story and expertise into a complete presentation.

You'll organize your opening, supporting stories, teaching points, audience involvement, and closing into a purposeful sequence.

Your takeaway: A signature talk outline you can continue developing and rehearsing.

04 — Your Speaking Accordion

A practical way to expand or compress your presentation without losing the message.

You'll learn how to adjust the depth of your stories, teaching, examples, and audience engagement to fit different time limits and opportunities.

Your takeaway: A plan for adapting your talk to shorter and longer speaking formats.

05 — Your Delivery Practice

An opportunity to begin bringing your presentation to life.

You'll practice selected parts of your talk, receive guided feedback, and identify what needs further development.

Your takeaway: Feedback on selected speaking segments and clear priorities for continued rehearsal.

One message. Many rooms. Different depths.

You leave with speaking assets you can use—and a method you can continue practicing as new opportunities arrive.

01 — Six Live Guided Sessions

Meet every other week across 12 weeks to learn the methods, ask questions, and develop your talk with guidance.

02 — Time to Build Between Sessions

Apply what you're learning to your own message, stories, teaching points, and presentation. Bring your work back for the next stage.

03 — Practice and Guided Feedback

Practice selected portions of your talk, receive feedback in the group, and identify what to refine before your next opportunity.

Your 12-Week Journey: From Story to Signature Talk

You've already lived the experiences. You have ideas, lessons, and expertise worth exploring.

Now comes the work of turning those pieces into a presentation someone can follow, learn from, and remember.

We'll meet for six live guided group sessions, approximately every other week, with time between sessions to develop and practice what you're learning.

Session 01 — Find the Message That Holds It Together

Start with the experience, expertise, or idea you want to share. Identify the central message and what you want your audience to understand or be able to do.

Between sessions: Write your central message and identify your audience outcome.

Session 02 — Build the Bridges That Make It Matter

Learn how to connect a personal experience to an audience lesson. Develop bridge statements that move between stories, insights, and teaching without losing your listeners.

Between sessions: Begin building your Bridge Bank.

Session 03 — Build the Talk Around the Story

Discover what belongs after your opening story. Organize your teaching points, supporting stories, audience involvement, and closing into a purposeful presentation.

Between sessions: Develop your first signature talk outline.

Session 04 — Learn to Expand and Compress Your Talk

Practice the Speaking Accordion: keeping your central message while changing how deeply you develop each part.

Explore how the same message can work in a 10-minute presentation or a longer keynote.

Between sessions: Map shorter and longer versions of your talk.

Session 05 — Bring the Talk Into the Room

Begin practicing selected sections of your talk. Explore delivery, pacing, transitions, and how to engage an audience. Receive guided feedback and identify what to strengthen.

Between sessions: Rehearse and refine your selected segments.

Session 06 — Make the Message Yours

Bring together the work you've developed. Practice selected material, identify remaining gaps, and create a plan for continued rehearsal and development.

Your final outcome: A working signature talk architecture, five practical speaking assets, and a clear path for continued growth.

One message. Many rooms. Different depths.

We meet every other week because your talk grows between the sessions.
